Diwali Celebration ......

Hello, my dear friends! Guessing the topic? Yes, it's about story writing. In this story writing, I am going to tell you about an eco-friendly Diwali. Well, what are you waiting for? Let's move on!

In the vast city of Mumbai, there lived an eight year- old boy, named Rahul. He was kind but was also a little mischievous. He had a lot of friends and they were all similar to Rahul, they all were playful and mischievous!

Rahul went out to play with Ram but saw an unusual sight. The street was crowded, people were excited, sweets and snacks were being offered to everyone, new guests' cars were parked, and mostly, the favorite of Rahul's, firecrackers were bursting on the pavement…

He guessed it. It was Diwali! Rahul's mind exploded with joy! He did not quite remember the exact date of Diwali, but he was very glad that the festival had finally arrived. Diwali meant a lot to Rahul. Endless free time, no exams, eating sweets, and bursting crackers. The next day, he persuaded his father to buy him a set of firecrackers.

He set out in the evening with his friends who had all got their crackers out too. He burst them to his heart's content. In the process of bursting his crackers, Rahul saw that many people elderly people were not too happy with them. They coughed and jumped at the mere sound of a cracker bursting. Rahul conveyed this to his friends, but they told him to not care about them.

The next day, however, before going out his father held him back. He told him that he was not to burst the rest of his crackers. The joy of Diwali evaporated from Rahul. He was unhappy and he asked his father the reason for his statement. His father smiled and told him that he should celebrate Diwali in an eco-friendly way. He told him that Diwali is a time for all people to be happy, and he should not trouble the elderly people by exploding crackers.

After all, Diwali should be a happy time for all. He told the same to his friends. At first, they were reluctant for celebrating Diwali without crackers, but after some time, listening to the harmful effects of the crackers on the environment they too obliged.

So, I think that we too should celebrate Diwali without crackers and do everything in an eco-friendly way.
So, thanks for reading, and have a happy and eco-friendly Diwali!
