How Plastic Is Destroying The World?

How plastic is destroying the world? Plastic is an organic material just like wood, paper or wool. The raw materials used to produce plastic are natural materials such as cellulose, natural gas, coal, salt, and of course, crude oil. Plastic is also destroying the world, how? Let me tell you. Plastic pollution on land poses a threat to plants and animals including humans who are based on the land. Chlorinated plastic can release harmful chemicals into the surrounding soil, which can then seep into the groundwater or other surrounding water sources and also the ecosystem of the world. Only nine percent of all plastic produced is recycled, and many people simply throw away plastic products which are, in fact, recyclable. The single-use nature of many plastics, which has ushered in a 'throw-away' culture, is part of the problem, but perhaps the most influential issue is the confusion behind what can be recycled - and where to recycle these materials. In conclusion, plastic is destroying the world so, is there anything we can do to reduce plastic consumption. Well, the answer is yes! By reducing the amount of plastic we use each day, we can help to cut demand and enforce change. Recently, plastic bans have been discussed, targeting single-use plastics in commercial settings. Well, that's all I have to say. Bye!
