Hi friends, today I am going to share some information about the National bird Of India. The pride and grace of India apart from so many national dignitaries like Lotus, Ashoka Stambh, Lion, etc is our National bird, Peacock. The male peacock is the one with colorful feathers that get spread when they expect rainfall. Such is the grace of this bird that it makes people wait and watch when it walks across the street.
Such is the charm of this bird that even I forgot to mention about myself. Peacock has its spiritual and godly values as well, since it was the vehicle of Lord Kartike and even Lord Ganapati. The feather of the peacock was even adorned by Lord Krishna and Lord Ganesha. They have found mention even in the mythological Puranas and books. They are also seen as the symbol of National integrity as they have various colors in them which shows that India is having so many religions, languages, colors, races but still we stand united.
Such is this bird Peacock - National Bird of India, that it has so much to say that even I am falling short of words. Signing off for the time being.. Look out this space for more information.
Thanks and look out for more in the blogs to come.
