Holi- The Festival Of Colors!!

Hello everyone I am back with another joyful blog!!! India is a land where numerous festivals are celebrated. Today we are going to explore one of the most important and joyful festivals celebrated in India, that is none other than HOLI!!

Holi is about celebrating happiness among our friends and family, people forget their all troubles and indulge in this festival to celebrate it with great joy and this festival is celebrated every year with zeal and enthusiasm in March. People wait for this festival every year eagerly to play with beautiful colors and to have delectable food and sweets, people enjoy this festival a lot by playing with water guns and colors and also apply them to each other's faces to get colored in the essence of the festival. One day before Holi people conduct a ritual called 'Holika Dahan' in this ritual people pile heaps of wood to burn it, this symbolizes the burning of negative things from people's lives. On the day of Holi people dress up nicely and beautifully in white clothes and enjoy their whole day by dancing, singing and having delicious dishes and sweets with their families and friends. This festival is mainly enjoyed by children, as they get a chance to play with water and to do lots of Masti!!

Finally, at the end of the day, Holi spreads love and happiness among the people and it brings harmony into their lives, and also it removes all sorts of negativity from their life.
