Welcome back to my blog.

My name is Anushka Chavan and today we are going to talk about a Master Blaster Cricketer who is none other than Sachin Tendulkar.

So let's get started!

Sachin Tendulkar is our favorite Cricketer playing for team India, his full name is Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar and he is also called Little Master and Master Blaster. He was born in Nirmal Nursing Home which is located in Dadar, Bombay on 24th April 1973 to a Maharashtrian family. His father, Ramesh Tendulkar, was a well-known Marathi novelist and poet and his mother, Rajni, worked in the insurance industry. Sachin's name was kept by his father after his favourite music director, Sachin Dev Burman. Sachin has three elder siblings, two brothers Nitin and Ajit, and one sister Savita.

Sachin spent his formative years in the Sahitya Sahawas Cooperative Housing Society which is located in Bandra (East). As a young boy, Sachin was considered a bully, and he often picked up fights with new children in his school. He had an interest in Tennis also. Ajit introduced cricket to Sachin in 1984. He also introduced Sachin to Ramakant Achrekar, whose full name was Ramakant Vitthal Achrekar, He started playing cricket in 1943. He also played for Young Maharashtra XI, Gul Mohar Mills, and Mumbai Port. Achrekar was also a famous Indian cricket coach and a club cricketer of repute, at Shivaji Park, Dadar. He also won the Dronacharya Award in 1990 and Padma Shri in 2010.

So, This Great Ramakant Achrekar trained our Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar.
